Chinese conductor Vera Lu currently serves as Assistant Conductor of Seven Hills Symphony. She is the founding Music Director of Orchestra Speaks, an orchestra whose musicians openly discussed interpretations and tested ideas in rehearsal. The orchestra received the CCM Harmony Fund Award in 2025. She has conducted the Bodensee Philharmonie Konstanz and Manchester Camerata, as well as Coppélia with CCM Ballet and Die Zauberflöte at Miami Music Festival. Vera was a Ludovic Morlot Fellowship Conductor at the Pierre Monteux School and is completing her Bachelor of Music at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
